In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of the top tools apps in Europe showed various trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the app market dynamics during this period.

QR & Barcode Scanner from Gamma Play experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at $113 in mid-October before dropping to $39 by the end of December. Downloads consistently increased toward the quarter's end, reaching 742K in the week of December 23, while active users remained steady, hovering around 24M.

Samsung Smart Switch Mobile saw a notable rise in weekly downloads, particularly in late December, with numbers climbing to 907K. Its active user base also expanded, peaking at 3.7M during the same period.

For VPN - fast proxy + secure, revenue spiked in mid-October at $12.1K, but gradually decreased to $501 by the quarter's end. Downloads followed a similar pattern, with an initial surge to 730K in October, then stabilizing around 497K in December.
